About me!
Charis (founder of Bella Soiree) founded Bella Soiree in 2005 because of a passion for beautiful, fun events! This blog was started in 2009 – because I wanted to have a way to be interactive! I really wanted everyday to be a reason for an event but also because I want people to feel special – whether they are the host, guest of honor, or party attender!
I can’t remember when I didn’t have a passion for parties. Some time in Elementary school I was bit by the party bug – always wanting to throw new and exciting parties. I would beg my dad to throw one at every holiday! I still have friends today that remember me and my parties. One exciting one was thrown in early Middle school for a Christmas party. I can even remember to this day all the details and what I used. I spent a lot of time planning it and it was exciting. My guests had so much fun – they even caught the counter on fire! Definitely memorable. That was just the beginning of my passion for parties!!
I have played a part in planning many events, some of those include: corporate parties, birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, graduation parties, and weddings!
Love to think of new ideas and customize every detail! Aside from the details, I put a lot of thought into experience for the host and the guest! I like to come up with things that set apart from other events!
My style is pretty simple yet, stylish even for the youngest of party guest! I love planning whimsical, darling and sophisticated events! The details are what I specialize is.
I am married to the love of my life since 2000 (picture included – another party I planned) and we have one precious little girl and live in Texas!
